October of 2008, I opened my home to children in the community. Little People’s Daycare was designed to take care of children in a loving and safe environment. (Home away from home).

Communication with our parents is a top priority at Little People's Learning Academy. Our infant child care program helps babies flourish because when parents and children feel comfortable and are on a consistent schedule success is reached. Providing unique care, allows us to discuss in detail with you their personality, home routines, developmental milestones, and any other special considerations. In addition, every morning we’ll do a check-in update to discuss how the night before went, as well as their feeding, napping, and diaper change schedule for the day.

Each type of curiosity can be nurtured in the early childhood classroom, and each curiosity can foster a child’s early learning. Our focus is on helping each child develop, so they’re well-prepared for Preschool, Kindergarten, and the school years beyond. Curiosity can be a source of motivation, learning, and joy for all of us—not just toddlers, but infants as well. Our classroom is specially designed for this age group, promoting plenty of social play, helping children build and practice positive daily habits, and nurturing young imaginations through our many diverse learning academics.

Our curriculum is designed to foster confidence and independence, so your child is best prepared for the path ahead into kindergarten. Our preschool teachers maintain appropriate expectations, providing each child with the right mix of challenge, support, sensitivity, and stimulation. With their knowledge, skill, and training, teachers—in collaboration with families—can ensure that our programs promote and enhance every child’s learning. To do this, we take a balanced approach that focuses on instruction, while also infusing fun and creativity into their day. Children will stay engaged and on track toward achieving kindergarten readiness.
